Amanda Dodge is a digital marketing professional based in St. Petersburg, Florida. She works with local businesses and nonprofit organizations to grow their online presence. This includes helping with website content, search engine optimization, paid search efforts, and social media.
Amanda believes in giving her clients the knowledge to make the best marketing decisions possible for their specific needs. She wants her clients to understand exactly how digital marketing works so that concepts like SEO and pay-per-click advertising don’t seem confusing or too intimidating to invest in.
Amanda started her career at a Tampa-based content marketing agency working on their blog. During that time, she learned about SEO, content optimization, editing, and how to manage an editorial calendar. From there, she moved from the agency side to an in-house position, working in the eCommerce department at Bealls Florida. She learned about the SEM side of the business, improving paid search campaigns and building affiliate relationships while balancing a multi-million dollar marketing budget.
In April 2016, Amanda started her own business providing digital marketing and content services to small businesses and agencies looking to scale their production. She continues to run Dodge Digital Marketing today.
Amanda serves as a board member for the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area and for the St. Pete-based literary nonprofit Wordier Than Thou.
Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Florida State University. She also credits Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for giving her internship experience in the public relations and marketing fields.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring the freshwater springs of Florida with a snorkel or canoe.
